Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Finance
Mrs. D.H.S. Pullaperuma
Mrs. D.H.S. Pullaperuma, an executive officer with over 24 years of experience in Sri Lanka Administrative Service (SLAS), commenced her role as the Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, Economic Stabilization and National Policies with effect from December 2023.
Mrs. D.H.S. Pullaperuma holds a Bachelor of Science degree with Second Class Upper Division from the University of Ruhuna (1997) and a Master Degree in Public Administration from the Sri Lanka Institute of Development Administration (SLIDA). Additionally, she has obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management from the University of Colombo (2005) and a Higher National Diploma in Public Procurement and Contract Administration from Sri Lanka Institute of Development Administration (SLIDA) in 2023.
Mrs. D.H.S. Pullaperuma began her public service career in February 2000, joining the Sri Lanka Administrative Service. She served as an Assistant Food Controller at the Food Commissioner's Department from 2001 to 2003, followed by roles as an Assistant Secretary at the Public Service Commission from 2004 to 2008, and as an Assistant Director at the Department of National Planning from February 2008 to June 2010. Subsequently, she held various positions including Deputy Director and Director at the Department of Customs from August 2011 to September 2014, and as Director at the Department of Management Services from October 2014 to November 2017. In December 2017, Mrs. D.H.S. Pullaperuma assumed the role of Director (Premises) at the Ministry of Finance and Mass Media, where she served until April 2019. She then served at the Ministry of Finance, Economy, and Policy Development, holding the position of Senior Assistant Secretary (Admin) from May 2019 to June 2020, and as the Additional Director General (Admin) from June 2020 to December 2023. Currently, Mrs. D.H.S. Pullaperuma serves as the Additional Secretary at the Ministry of Finance, Economic Stabilization and National Policies since the year 2024.
