Civil Works and Other Services for the construction and completion of 132 kV transmission lines of total length approximately 40 km to connect Maliboda, Nawalapitiya, Ragala and Wewalwatta Grid Substations to the transmission network of Ceylon Electricity Board

The Ceylon Electricity Board now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Civil Works and Other Services for the construction and completion of above mentioned 132 kV transmission lines (“the Works”).

National Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with both Asian Development Bank’s (ADB’s) and Agence Française de Développement’s (AFD’s) Single Stage: One Envelope Bidding Procedures. In addition to National Bidders, this procurement of works is open to Foreign Bidders as well provided that they are from eligible source countries of the AFD.

A pre-bid meeting will take place in the Auditorium, 7th floor, Ceylon Electricity Board, Colombo 02, Sri Lanka at 10.00 am on 16th August 2017.

Bids must be delivered to the Office of Additional General Manager (Projects), 4th Floor, Landmark Building, 385, Galle Road, Colombo 03, Sri Lanka on or before the dead line 10.00 am on 13th September 2017 and must be accompanied by Bid security of LKR 10.00 million or U$$ 0.07 million.
